Description

Much Needed Refinement for the OEM Shifter

The OEM base bushings on most Hondas and Acuras are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber adds equates to a very noticeable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser-etched, and paired with class 12.9 flat-head mounting bolts.

Compatible with all trims of 8th Gen Civic equipped with manual transmissions including base models, Si, FN2 Type R, and FD2 Type R.

Note: 1893 Shifter Base Bushings are intended for use with OEM 8th Gen Civic shifters only, and are NOT compatible with ACUiTY's 8th Gen Civic Shifters (SKUs 1960-1W and 1960-3W).
